  16. OBJECTIVE
  17.  
  18. Marcus Flavius is a Roman scholar who has been sent by 
  19. the Senate of Rome to discover the secret of the Oracle
  20. of Runes.  To accomplish this, Marcus must solve each of
  21. the perplexing puzzles that make up this ancient mythical
  22. enigma.  Marcus's task is to reach the doorway in each
  23. puzzle by strategically lifting and stacking the marble
  24. blocks that are strewn about each room.

  27. GAME PLAY
  28.  
  29. The puzzles are selected by choosing a letter A-Z. 
  30. (Shareware version  A-J)   When the puzzle is loaded
  31. onto the game board Marcus Flavius will be standing
  32. somewhere within the puzzle.  You can move him around
  33. the game board by using your arrow keys.  Marcus can
  34. only jump up one block at a time, so he must stack the
  35. marble blocks in order to reach the Oracle's doorway.  
  36.  
  37. Some of the puzzles will have a special lever located 
  38. somewhere on the game board.  If Marcus can reach this
  39. lever the Blue Floors within the puzzle will be removed.

  41. When Marcus reaches the Oracle's doorway, the puzzle 
  42. will be considered solved.  On the Select Puzzle Menu 
  43. all puzzles that have been solved will have a green
  44. circle next to them.

  49. Along the bottom of the game board there are buttons 
  50. that can be activated using either the mouse or the 
  51. appropriate letter key.
